Al-Haaj Bundoo Khan's الحاج بندو خان

Well my mother told me this is an OG spot and yes, we really liked it, family friendly environment, open air and also made a lil friend while waiting for our food. We had their beef seekh kabab (7/10), we were running late so had it at home. Kabab was for 1200 (100 per kabab) Recommended! Ps: we also got ourselves paan from a shop there xD.

Bundu Khan is a timeless gem of Karachi! Revisiting it after 10 years was like a nostalgic trip to my childhood. The mutton kebabs remain mouthwatering, and the paratha chicken tikka combo still stands out as an unbeatable classic. This place has been serving BBQ excellence for decades, and their consistency is remarkable. While the quality is still top-notch, I did notice that the portion sizes, like the chicken tikka, have become smaller, and the seekh kababs are priced higher (Rs. 1,200 for 12 small pieces). Considering the current economic challenges, it’s understandable. The staff is courteous and attentive, and though the ambiance isn't extraordinary, the outdoor seating adds a nice touch. It's also wheelchair accessible, making it inclusive for all diners. Sindhi Muslim Society itself is a vibrant food street, and Bundu Khan remains its shining star. It may not be a “fancy” dining spot, but its flavor, heritage, and heart make it worth every visit. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic BBQ with a touch of nostalgia!

Still one of the few restaurants that serve the same quality of food consistently decade after decade. The food is great and very cheap compared to similar fare elsewhere. The paratha, halwa, and chicken tikka combo is the default for me. The seekh kabob were also delicious.

Have been visiting Al-Haaj Bundoo Khan for as long as i can remember (maybe since i was 7) The taste of BBQ has remained their legacy since they had only 1 branch This time i visited post Iftaar for some light dinner with wife and ordered Chicken Tikka (Chest) and Chicken Boti alongwith Parathas Chatni and Salad are served complimentarily and Halwa for dessert Overall highly recommended for ppl of not just Karachi but overall Pakistan

This place is a gem for anyone craving authentic desi food. Every dish was rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and reminded me of homemade meals. From the buttery naan to the flavorful biryani and creamy butter chicken, everything was spot on.

Tikka truly has a very delicious taste. Timing 6PM k likhi hai but 6PM pe serve nh krte.
